Stop a Scan

Fuzzing Hero lets you stop a pending or running scan at any time. If you accidentally start a scan earlier than planned or need to pause, you can stop the scan anytime before completion and Fuzzing Hero will promptly cease traffic and analysis.

When you start a scan you are taken to the scan progress view. You can also revisit this view by clicking on the Scans tab and clicking on the respective scan. The page displays a real-time progress bar showing the current progress, elapsed duration, and the total requests sent.

To stop the scan:

1. On the scan progress page, click the Stop Scan button at the bottom of the progress details card.
2. The engine will halt all queue requests immediately and gracefully transition the scan state to stopped.

As long as a scan was stopped before completion, Fuzzing Hero will refund a stopped scan's credit to the appropriate party.

A stopped or failed scan will not have any results. You will be able to see the record of the scan and some metadata around it, such as how long did it run for and how many requests were sent, but it will not display any partial results.
